Activision has just released the names of the five new maps that will come with the Transformers: War for Cybertron Map and Character Pack #2. Three new maps Horizon, Sector, and Metropolis are available for multiplayer and Static and Pulse are available for Autobots and Decepticons, respectively, in Escalation mode. We previously reported that Steve Blum would be the voice actor for Starscream in Transformers: Prime. Now, thanks to Youtube user SEANLONGshot we can see the video of his announcement.

Pictures have surfaced of CG renderings of a forthcoming 3rd party toy. It’s Firebolt, G1 Hot Rod’s Targetmaster partner, re-imagined with greater posability and detail to go with Classics Hot Rod.

It is so far unclear what company will be producing the figure although this figure will be known as Blazer and appears to be part of a larger Magnum Sidekick line. We’ll bring you more information as soon as it becomes available.

A new Toys R Us commercial is airing in Hong Kong featuring some of the latest figures from the Hunt for the Decepticons line. It features Leader Class Starscream, Battle Blade Bumblebee and Optimus and Sidearm Sideswipe.

Previously we reported on the tragic news of an extra, 24-year-old Gabriela Cedillo who was struck by debris from a filmed explosion for Transformers 3.

Although she has remained unconscious since the accident her family report that she is “doing better”. Her brother, Adan Cedillo said “She’s moving a lot…her hands and legs, she’s doing a lot better.”

Our thoughts go out to her family and her friends at this difficult time.
